Our recommended model: a managed service with equipment on lease. You do not buy hardware or need a specialized team to operate OpenSense. Polimata Labs can run as your main router/firewall, or sit in front of your existing router/firewall as an intelligent connectivity layer that delivers one consolidated, more reliable internet feed.

Two implementation modes. Mode 1 — Polimata Labs manages the whole network as your main router/firewall. Mode 2 — Polimata Labs integrates in front of your current router/firewall: we receive the providers, run failover or balancing, and hand off a consolidated internet feed to your existing network. We recommend the managed lease model because Multi-WAN requires specialized knowledge to stay stable and secure.

Connectivity layer
For clients with their own network: Polimata Labs sits before the firewall, does failover/balancing, and delivers a stable, redundant internet feed.

If you prefer to buy your own gear, Polimata Labs designs, configures, and deploys it — with recommended specialized support for stability and security.

- Not necessarily. Polimata Labs can supply leased equipment as part of the managed service, although we can also work with client-owned equipment.
